Development of balance abilities in period of fundamental training in Teamgym
Dymáková, Dominika ; Chrudimský, Jan (advisor) ; Kašparová, Alena (referee)
Title: Development of balance abilities in period of fundamental training in Teamgym Objectives: The aim of the work is to verify the effect of the interventional movement program with selected Yoga exercises to the level of gymnastic balance skills in the basic stage of Teamgym training. Methods: An interventional movement program has been created aimed at developing the balance of abilities, the program includes yoga exercises. The program was applied in Teamgym training after fifteen weeks. The influence of the intervention was verified by comparing the results of the experimental and control groups in selected tests of balanced abilities. Data analysis was performed using a non-parametric Mann-Whitney test with a determined probability level of 95%. Test selection was demonstrated on the basis of low probands and expected results than normal data distribution. Results: The results of the experimental and control groups, when comparing the differences of the results of the input and output measurements, show an improvement in the performance in the selected tests in both groups. This individual comparison shows that the experimental group improved in the outcome tests, in the Standing On One Leg test, with the eyes open and a total of six probands out of eight improved in the non-standardized...
Influencing postural stability in the standing position on the hands
Fiala, Tomáš ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Chrudimský, Jan (referee)
Name: Influencing postural stability in the handstand posture Characteristic: Theoretical part of thesis explains essential terms regarding a postural stability, motor skills, particularly coordination, respectively balance skills. Thesis deals with the issue of maintaining the postural balance in handstand position. Objectives: The main goal of thesis is finding, if and in what amount can applied movement program improve parameters of postural stability, within the research group. Methods: The research included 7 students took the entire cycle (2 men, 5 women; age of 22,8 ± 1,64 year, body weight 61,5 ± 7,45 kg, body height 169,5 ± 7,51 cm. For the measurement of postural stability device was used FOOTSCAN, sensing frequency has been selected 33 Hz. Test battery was composed of four postural stability tests and the handstand stability test. For evaluation of the working parameters have been taken to the COP in the antero-posterior direction (Δx), in the right-left direction (Δy) and total distance COP (TTW). Results: Results has shown a slight improvement of postural stability in handstand, after completion of the movement program. There was a lack of a control group, therefore no statistic significance was concluded. Furthermore, no significant change in postural stability was detected after...
Set of exercises for the development of balance abilities of younger school age girls in gymnastics
Novotná, Jaroslava ; Vorálková, Jitka (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Name: Set of exercises for the development of balance abilities of younger school age girls in gymnastics. Characteristics: The theoretical part deals with important concepts related to gymnastics, especially the women's artistic gymnastics and balance beam as a pivotal tool for this work. Motor skills, coordination skills and balance abilities are also defined there. The end of the theoretical part deals with characteristics of a younger school age and the sensitive period. The main goal of the practical part is to design and formulate set of exercises. They have a goal to stimulate the level of balance abilities. Presented exercises are primarily proposed in gymnastics for girls of younger school age. The set of exercises has been profiled from a long-term analysis of gymnastics trainings. The observation method has been used in conjunction with the exercises described in the literature dealing with the same topic. The work is not a primary research and it also does not have an experimental character. The structure is not associated with any hypotheses nor is asking scientific questions. The conclusion of the bachelor work contains a summary of the whole issue and evaluates possibilities of using this work in a coaching practice. Possible future research directions are also indicated there....

Žďánský, Marek ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title of the work: Balance progress of tennis players at the age of 6 to 15 Objective of the work: The objective of this work is to suggest summary of exercises and preparatory training for development of balance skills of tennis players at younger and elder school age and verify it in practice. I suggested this summary by combination of theoretical pieces of knowledge form sport training sphere, sport preparation of children and young people and coordination progress in tennis. I hope that my work will contribute to quality improvement of tennis preparation in this important developmental period of a child. Method: I used only quality research, especially evaluation. During the research I've also done entrance testing of children by balance tests to find out their balance skills. Suggested summary of exercises and preparatory training is well-tried and I've drawn conclusions how does it work in practice. Results: The result is methodical material in which you can find evaluated exercises for tennis players at the age of 6 to 15. The work describes what exercises and preparatory training children should do and coaches should not underestimate. Keywords: Balance skills, balance, coordination skills, tennis
Impact of stimulation of power abilities on balance
Škoda, Jan ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
3 ABSTRACT Title of thesis: Impact of stimulation of power abilities on balance Aim of thesis: Verification of effectiveness of power workouts for stable and unstable supporting surfaces and the impact thereof on balance. Methods: An experimental method was used, with two groups of probands completing a three-month power training programme. The programme included power workouts with balance equipment for the first group and similar power workouts on a stable mat for the second group. The whole power training programme was elaborated in the degree thesis by Štohanzl (2010). All probands underwent an entrance, check-up and final testing with our monitoring of the impact of power training on balance development. Results: Our results did not confirm direct connection with more effective development while using unstable surfaces. Key words: balance abilities, stability, stabilometry, balance equipment, power abilities
